Jersey City GroveDrive-in movie night returns to 107 Morgan. Plus, enjoy a dinner + music show at Battello or volunteer to help keep Berry Lane Park or Gordon Leonard Park clean.

Friday Events

What: Drive-In Movie Night (The Outsiders)
When: Friday, March 16 at 7:15pm
Where: 107 Morgan Street (parking lot adjacent to CoolVines Powerhouse)
The Exchange Place Alliance, JC Families, and Ward E councilman James Solomon are teaming up for another drive-in movie night. Friday’s film will be the 1983 classic, The Outsiders. Admission is $20 per car and reservations are required. Gates will close at 8pm and no entry will be allowed after that time.

What: Battello: Live in the Lounge
When: Friday, April 16 at 8pm
Where:
502 Washington Boulevard
Live in the Lounge is a 90-minute dinner accompanied by an intimate performance by a local musician. The 3-course dinner is limited to 40 people and will take place inside Battello’s spacious lounge. Tonight, Battello will feature Strangers Stopping Strangers — a Grateful Dead tribute band. Admission is $140/per person.

Saturday Events

What: Jersey City Neighborhood Cleanup (Heights + DTJC)
When: Saturday, April 17 from 10am to 1pm
Where: various locations
Clean Green Jersey City is looking for volunteers to help with neighborhood cleanups throughout Jersey City this weekend. Meet your neighbors, take in some Vitamin D, and help keep your streets clean. This weekend will focus on Berry Lane Park and Leonard Gordon Park. (You can sign up via this Google form).

What: The Cottage Weekend Jazz Trio
When: Saturdays & Sundays from 10:30am to 2:30pm
Where: 136 Monticello Avenue
The Cottage Jersey City is hosting live musical performances every weekend starting today. Saturday’s performance will be by Diego Campo Jazz. Sunday guests will be treated to gypsy jazz. The socially distanced event is held in The Cottage’s outdoor patio. As a reminder, The Cottage is BYOB (and they offer killer pastries and brunch sandwiches).

What: Corgi Comedy Club
When: Saturday, April 17 at 7pm
Where: 1 Distillery Drive
Share a few laughs at the Corgi Spirits comedy show. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. It’ll take place inside the Corgi lounge, so bring a face mask with you. Admission is $20 per person.

When: Sunday, April 18 at 6pm + 8pm
Where: 364 Grove Street
Every Sunday night, Dullboy will be screening a movie in its heated patio. The first showing is at 6pm followed by a second showing at 8pm. Make sure to give them a follow on Instagram to find out what movie they’ll show.
