What: Light Up Bike Ride
When: Friday, September 25 at 8:30am + 6:30pm
Where: Riverview Park + Grove Plaza
Bike JC is hosting two bike rides today. An 8:30am ride will begin at Riverview Park and include Mayor Steven Fulop. The 6:30pm ride meets at Grove Plaza and will ride up to the Heights.

What: Milk & Cream Bar + Blue’s Clues
When: through October 25
Where: 175 Newark Avenue
Milk and Cream Bar Jersey City is teaming up with Nickelodeon for a new line of ice cream sandwiches — debuting today. The lineup includes Josh’s Ultimate Ube Surprise (Ube Ice Cream sandwiched in chocolate wafers and rolled in chocolate cookie crunchies) and Blue’s Snack Time Treat (vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips, pretzels, and cookie dough sandwiched in chocolate wafers and rolled in chocolate cookie crunchies). Both ice cream sandwiches will be available through October 25.

What: Surf City Final Weekend
When: last day is Sunday
Where: 1 Marin Boulevard
This will be Surf City’s final weekend before closing for the summer. Enjoy one last lobster roll, fisherman’s platter, or lobster quesadilla by the waterfront.

What: Goatchella 2 at Harsimus Cemetery
When: Friday, September 25 from 5:45pm to 10pm
Where: 435 Newark Avenue
Goatchella is a socially-distanced evening of live music designed to raise money for the Historic Harsimus Cemetery. The concert is BYOB and you’re encouraged to bring your own blanket or chair (no pets allowed). Masks will be required for admission. Price is $30/pp.

What: Four City Tap Takeover at Homegrown JC
When: Friday at 3pm through Sunday at 8pm
Where: 150 Bay Street
Essex County’s Four City Brewing is bringing some of its brews to Jersey City this weekend for a tap takeover at Homegrown JC. The tap list includes Chai Latter Stout, Hedison’s Medison IIPA, Pineapple Finesse Sour, and Eagle Rocktoberfest.

What: Yoga at Canco Park
When: Saturday, September 26 from 9am to 10pm
Where: 70 Dey Street
Kick off your weekend with an hour of outdoor yoga led by Jessica Strickler. The 1-hour class is free and open to all levels. Masks are required and you must bring your own mat.

Unicorn Mochi Pancakes

What: Moffle Bar + Baonanas Collab
When: Saturday, September 26 from 11am to 3pm
Where: 181 Monticello Avenue (Baonanas HQ)
Heads up, dessert lovers! Moffle Bar and Baonanas are teaming up for the debut of Moffle Bar’s Unicorn Mochi Pancakes. The fluffy/chewy pancakes are paired with Baonanas’ Black Sesame Banana Pudding. They’ll be serving the pancakes outside Baonanas HQ (the street will be closed to traffic) from 11am to 3pm. Other new treats include chicken & waffles and a Unicorn Pancake mix.

What: Brunch at Shell N’ Tail
When: Saturday, September 26 from 11am

Seafood restaurant Shell N’ Tail is debuting its new brunch menu this weekend. The “Friends with Benedicts” menu will feature four Benedict dishes including a Lobster BLT Benedict and a Crab Cake Benedict. In addition to the Benedicts menu, Shell N’ Tail will offer several other classic brunch dishes.

What: Pop-Up Pedestrian Plaza at McGinley Square

Where: Jordan Avenue (from Montgomery to Orchard)
The McGinley Square Pedestrian Plaza is back. The McGinley Square SID has organized another pop-up along Bergen Avenue (from Duncan to Reed). The pop-up will occur Saturday & Sunday from noon till 10pm and will highlight food from local eateries like Guerrero, Coconut Latin Caribbean Grill, ITA Kitchen, and more.

What: Grand Opening of the Grind General Store
When: Saturday, September 26 from 2pm till 6pm
Where: 293 Suydam Street
The team behind The Grind Coffee Shop opens its new store — The Grind General — this afternoon. Joining the neighborhood party (from 2pm till 6pm) will be Harry’s Daughter, Baonanas, No Forks Given, and our friends from Hearth Carribean-inspired tonics, who will be showcasing their line of homemade health tonics.

What: Outdoor Fitness Class with Four Fitness

Burn those weekend calories off with a free fitness class hosted by Four Fitness owner Marcisco Morrison. The outdoor class is designed to work your entire body using your own body weight. Masks will be required and you’ll have to bring your own mat.

When: Sunday, September 27 from 10am to 2pm
Where: Morris Canal Park
Ward E Councilman James Solomon, non-profit Keep Jersey City Beautiful, and non-profit Adopt a Block are teaming up Clean Green Jersey City for a 5-week street clean-up campaign that continues today at Morris Canal Park. Meet your neighbors, take in some Vitamin D, and help keep Ward E’s streets clean. (You can sign up via this Google form).

What: Jazz at Corgi Spirits
When: Sunday, September 27 from 3pm to 5pm
Where: 1 Distillery Drive
Enjoy an afternoon of live jazz at Corgi Spirits. Admission is free and there will be a full cash bar and food trucks/delivery available. The event is pet friendly and there will be heating lamps should the weather get brisk.
