Plus, with Jersey City Restaurant Week still going strong, there are also a lot of old favorites to revisit. Here are our recommendations on where to eat and drink this weekend.

What: JC Restaurant Week Specials & Deals
When: through February 9
The Jersey City Restaurant Association in partnership with various Jersey City Special Improvement Districts are teaming up for JC Restaurant Week 2021. Over 100 restaurants are offering special 3-course prix fixe menus. Participating restaurants include Hard Grove, Porta, Würstbar, Latham House, Emma’s, Ani Ramen, Freetown Road Project, Paulie’s Brickhouse, Amiya, Just Beclaws, Subia’s Vegan Cafe, and more.

What: Brunch returns at Lokal
Where: 2 Second Street
After a brief hiatus, brunch returns to Lokal this weekend. Brunch will be served Saturdays and Sundays from 11am till 3pm.

What: New Menu Launch at The Cottage
Where: 136 Monticello Avenue
The Cottage Jersey City just launched a new menu filled with epic new sandwiches like their house-roasted turkey sandwich. Plus, check out their decadent new desserts including their chocolate mousse cake.

Where: 150 Bay Street
Prato Bakery just opened its second Jersey City-based cafe at 150 Bay Street. Unwind with a cup of Italian coffee or indulge in some sweet Italian cookies.

What: Automat Kitchen
Where: 525 Washington Boulevard
Automat Kitchen is a new contactless restaurant with no wait staff. Orders are placed online/via smartphone/or in person via a kiosk. Food is stored in a locked cubby until you’re ready to claim it via a unique code that’s sent to you via text when your order is ready. In terms of food, Automat Kitchen offers a modern classic comfort food including mac & cheese, chicken pot pie, Massaman curry pot roast, and more.

A new Mediterranean restaurant just opened in the former AI Pho spot. New Brunswick-based Efes Grill is now open serving kebabs, gyros, and more.
