A Hell’s Kitchen staple (792 9th Avenue), Wondee Siam is known for being “consistently delicious” and for its “rock-bottom” prices, according to Zagat. Their menu includes plenty of Thai staples like pad see ew, papaya salad, and various Thai curries. Other entrees include crispy pork with Chinese broccoli and a spicy larb gai made with minced chicken, ground toasted rice, scallions, cilantro, lime juice, and chili. Customers also rave about Wondee Siam’s pineapple fried rice and crab meat fried rice.
The restaurant also carries plenty of seafood options (fried, steamed, or grilled) and a variety of stir-fried veggie dishes. Wondee Siam doesn’t appear to have a website for their Jersey City location yet, but you can checkout their NYC menu on their website. (Oddly, their Jersey City outpost is also spelled “One Dee” instead of “Wondee”).
One Dee Siam Jersey City joins Artichoke Pizza (opening soon) and Gaia and Loki (currently open) as the newest restaurants in downtown JC.
