Harborside Ferry Service Debuts on Monday, Darke Pines Launches Kickstarter

**Starting October 2nd, Jersey City commuters will have a new, stress-free way to get to New York. NY Waterway will launch its new ferry service connecting Harborside to Battery Park/Brookfield Place and to Midtown/W39th Street. One-way fares to Midtown will cost $8, whereas one-way fares to BPC/Brookfield will cost $6. Discounted 10-trip and monthly tickets will also be available. Service will only be available on weekdays.

**Darke Pines has launched its official Kickstarter page. The brainchild of wife-and-husband team Erica and Will Messmer, the sustainable butcher shop is looking to open in downtown next year, making it the first locally-sourced butcher shop in the neighborhood. **Thai restaurant Pr&ince is moving downtown. Formerly located on Baldwin Avenue, the restaurant will soon move into its new space at 80 Wayne Street (just off Barrow). Pr&ince features a unique menu with items like Crab Cake Spicy Sriracha Mayonnaise Pad Thai, Poached White Fish with Tamarind, and Pumpkin & Cauliflower Milk. —Jersey Digs

**Plans to build One Journal Square may be back on track. Despite the city ending its subsidies and a major investor pulling out, the Kushner project has been revised. This time it’ll consist of two 57-story towers housing a total of 1,512 residential units. The two towers were originally expected to house 1,725 units with one tower standing 79 stories tall. —NJ.com
