**Poke fans have a reason to celebrate. Tidal Poke Co. has officially opened for business at 200 Hudson Street by Harborside Financial Center. Tidal Poke, which is owned by the same team behind Short Grain, will offer salmon & ahi tuna poke, tofu, octopus rice bowls, and açai bowls, among other menu items. —Tidal Poke Co.

**A new Argentinean bakery recently opened in the Heights at 376 Central Avenue. Dulce de Leche Bakery specializes in breads, pastries, pasta, and classic Argentinean empanadas, which are baked, not fried. (It makes a huge difference). **A Super Court judge has ruled that Governor Christie’s personal e-mail must be searched to comply with NJ’s open-records law. Meanwhile, prosecutors have asserted that Gov. Christie knew that his associates were involved in a plan to shut down lanes leading to the George Washington Bridge as it was happening and that the closings were intended “to punish a local mayor for declining to support him,” per the NYT. —The Record

**City officials have officially approved a measure intended to ban circus animals from Jersey City. The bill would also ban animals from fairs, petting zoos, and carnivals. —NJ.com
