Taiwanese dessert franchise Meet Fresh is coming to Newport. The dessert shop offers a range of treats that you normally wouldn’t find in your typical Jersey City cafe.
Established in 2007, Meet Fresh’s menu is based on traditional Taiwanese desserts. This includes shaved ice bowls, sweet/warm soups, and a large selection of tea drinks including milk tea and boba. Meet Fresh also offers small bites like mung bean cakes, mochi, egg pudding, and egg waffles. The shop claims to prioritize healthy desserts without preservatives.

Meet Fresh will be located inside Newport Tower at 525 Washington Boulevard. They join recently opened Automat Kitchen, Chinah, and Gregory’s Coffee.
